IRG brings Americans together across party lines by listening to the people who make up this country, studying what truly motivates them, and turning that insight into practical ways to restore trust, strengthen families and communities, and renew a shared love of country.

We are a nonpartisan research nonprofit committed to understanding what motivates the American public, especially the people who feel overlooked and unheard. Our work starts with listening: real conversations, real communities, real concerns.

We turn that understanding into insights that help leaders, neighbors, and institutions talk to one another with more respect, clarity, and common purpose. We focus on the values that bind us together, faith, family, work, community, and country, rather than the labels that drive us apart.
